Etixx Sports Nutrition continues its support

Intermarché-Wanty can count on the continued support of the Belgian benchmark brand in the field of sports nutrition in the coming years.

Etixx supplies sports bars and gummies, recovery drinks and supplements to the riders of the World Team, Wanty-ReUz-Technord Development Team and Charles Liégeois Roastery CX since the beginning of 2024, complementing the product ranges of other sports nutrition partners Maurten (exclusive and official supplier of sports drinks and energy gel), Cellavent Healthcare and Crampfix.

Nutrition plays a central role in the performance strategies of the Belgian structure. Etixx’s mission is to support riders in achieving their goals with a range of tasty, science-based sports nutrition products, featuring the best, innovative ingredients and tailored to the needs of everyone dedicated to their sport, whether professional, amateur, or simply for fun.

The experience of Intermarché-Wanty’s sports dietitians and the feedback from the riders are invaluable in the continuous development of Etixx products. Etixx collaborates with a diverse team of specialists from various fields, including biochemists, sports physicians, physiotherapists, biomedical scientists, and pharmacologists to guarantee high-quality products.

All Etixx products carry the internationally recognised ‘Informed Sport’ quality label. Every batch from each production run of the entire Etixx range undergoes an analysis by an independent laboratory to guarantee that tests the products for banned substances.

“We are very pleased that we can continue to rely on the support of Etixx for our nutrition strategies in the coming years. Their varied and high-quality product range and the anti-doping guarantee through the Informed Sport label are unique in Belgium and beyond. These two assets convinced us to set up this new partnership a year ago, to complete the products range of our historical nutrition partners. When we first used Etixx sports bars, gummies, recovery shakes and supplements during last season's winter training camp, our riders immediately liked them. Although cycling is internationally known, we believe it is important to enter into partnerships in our own country. This ensures smooth service and communication. Moreover, we are both ambitious to continue growing. Together we join forces to work on product innovations.”
