"I surprised myself in hilly races the last couple of weeks, with good results in the GP Color Code and in Herbeumont. Today, I again distinguished myself on a difficult course by breaking away with two other riders in the beginning of the race. I had confidence in my sprint, but when I saw my competitors hesitating with one kilometer to go, I attacked. On the steep final climb of 500 meter I increased my gap to 11 seconds to win my sixth race of the season." "It is incredible to obtain such a series of results, especially knowing that I wasn't spared of bad luck this season. This season, I broke my nose, had a covid infection and I broke my elbow. This shows that the plan established by my trainer Christophe Prémont works. All our efforts are rewarded." "I'm grateful for the opportunities the structure of Intermarché-Circus-Wanty gave me. I already learned a lot, thanks to the professional support we have within Circus-ReUz-Technord and thanks to the fact that there is nearly no separation between both teams. I was invited to race several times with the World Team, learning from my teammates and and from different race situations. Our equipment, training, follow-up, everything is very professional. It is a perfect environment to start a career of professional rider, a dream I hope to realise at the end of the season."
