With the support of Škoda Import, Steveny Group stays the car fleet partner of Intermarché-Wanty in the years to come. From this season, the three teams of the structure will be equipped with Škoda Steveny vehicles.
The sports directors will accompany the riders in the peloton driving seven Škoda Superb cars. Five Octavia, three Karoq and one Kodiaq models are made available to the staff. Steveny Group will also continue to transport the team's VIP guests in the greatest comfort and safety.
Steveny Group has around thirty car concessions spread across the five Walloon provinces, from Waterloo to Arlon, via Charleroi and Huy. One of the company’s strengths lies in the fact that it distributes seven particularly attractive car brands, both new and used, for retail and business sale. For more than 50 years, the Steveny family has placed the customer at the heart of its priorities. Steveny concessions specialise in mechanical reparation, tailor-made financing, service for businesses and bodywork reparations. To react to the many developments in the automotive sector and the requirements of new mobility, the employees of Steveny Group draw on years of professional experience and ongoing training.
Known as the “engine of cycling”, car manufacturer Škoda promotes cycling at different levels. In addition to classics like Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Vuelta, Škoda Auto sponsors many other main sporting events and cycling races, both nationally and internationally. The partnership established with the Tour de France since 2004 is the perfect example of this, with 18 participations on the clock for Škoda Auto as main partner and car supplier. It therefore goes without saying that bicycles and bicycle accessories are an integral part of the brand’s extensive product range, developed according to the well-known Simply Clever philosophy.
"Our cars play a central role in the logistics of our structure, whether it's to accompany the riders during their races, or during their training sessions throughout Europe. Over the last few years, we've built up an excellent cooperation with Steveny Group for the management of our vehicle fleet. The continuous growth of this company offered our team the fantastic opportunity to be equipped with Škoda cars, a brand with a long history and a strong relationship with cycling. Consequently, welcoming Škoda Steveny into our family of technical partners is a tremendous asset for our structure."

"The extension of our partnership with Intermarché-Wanty is one of the priorities of our sales and marketing strategy of our car concessions. The values shared by the team are important points of reference for our customers and our employees. We are committed to performance and results. And, just like the team, we place hospitality, team spirit and friendliness at the heart of our daily work for our customers. The efforts made over the last two seasons are being extended even further, starting today, with Škoda Import."

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Intermarché-Wanty, a national team that has grown remarkably to compete in the UCI World Tour, the highest professional cycling level. This collaboration reflects our commitment to nurturing local talent and ambitious projects that align with the core values of Škoda. The concept of the Want You Club (WYC) resonates deeply with us, as it fosters connections between local businesses and the growing world of cycling. Our involvement with Intermarché-Wanty is not just about supporting a team with beautiful ambitions and a passion for cycling; it's about fostering human connections and a spirit of cooperation that mirrors our approach to business. The synergy between Škoda and the cycling community exemplifies a shared dedication to excellence, both in sport and in business.”

About Škoda
Škoda’s passion for cycling is deeply rooted in the Czech company’s history: in 1895, Václav Laurin and Václav Klement founded a bicycle workshop in Mladá Boleslav under the name Slavia. In 1898, the two friends were already offering a wide range of two-wheelers, ranging from children’s models to ladies’ bicycles to tandems. The same year they also introduced motorcycles, both large and small, and in 1905 they became automobile manufacturers. The L&K Voiturette, officially the entrepreneurial duo’s first car, was equipped with a one-liter two-cylinder engine and reached a top speed of 40 km/h. The rest – as they say in this case – is Škoda history.
