Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Matériaux concluded the Arctic Race of Norway with a new top ten of Quinten Hermans, sixth in the fourth stage during which Dries De Pooter distinguished himself with an attack in the final.
The 19 year old Belgian rider attacked in the penultimate lap, joining a group of strong riders in pursuit of leader Leknessund. He was joined by Hermans later and sacrificed himself for his leader. Hermans won the sprint for sixth place, achieving his second consecutive top ten.
Quinten Hermans ends the event in eight place overall. Sven Erik Bystrøm, who finished fourth in the queen stage the day before, fell sick overnight and couldn’t take the start of the last stage.
