An individual time trial of 11.1 kilometer was scheduled on day two of the Benelux Tour (2.WT, 30/08-5/09), the only World Tour Stage race in Dutch and Belgian soil. Stefan Bissegger was the fastest along the Ijsselmeerdijk in the north of the Netherlands, averaging 54.9km/h. Thanks to the performance of Danny Van Poppel, best rider of the team, he stays in the top 20 of the general classification. The Dutch sprinter will be a man to watch again tomorrow, as another flat stage of 168.3 kilometer between Essen and Hoogerheide is on the menu.
