The Tour du Limousin started with an opportunity for sprinters in the region of Limoges this Tuesday. In the rain, Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert took its responsibilities in the peloton as Théo Delacroix was one of the riders leading the chase behind the early breakaway.
After the breakaway was caught, several riders tried to accelerate on the Côte de la Cazine (1.6km at 3.7%) with its top 5 kilometer before the finish. Thanks to the work of Lorenzo Rota, nobody managed to escape, enabling young Frenchman Hugo Page to finish sixth in the sprint.
